Housing Vindication

A self-vindicated home

Stripped down to the barest bones

With rusted statues crumbling

Fountains built of moss-filled stone

A scene of a murderous crime

That will stand the test of time

The recovery of each blood-soaked cloth

Dredged in mold and lime

A cold case file left unsealed

After the gruesome sight is revealed

Footprints not known to man

But of monstrous appeal

The gray scaled tapes capture the beast

Solemn clues to say the least

As it calls for every child around

To join him as he feasts
